This is looking good.

Anotheer question:

Does my cpu supports any of these?[ 775 / 1150 / 2011-3 ]

nope the a cpu can only be fitted on ONE and ONE ONLY socket and in this case the LGA 1366

Hey guys!

It's my first thread ever on this site. I've known Linus's channel for long time, but the web wont load since I'm living REALLY far, but now it's working, after like 2-3 years.

Any how, I need some help and I've got a few questions.

1. How much ram does my system supports at maximum right now?

2. I like my core, it's working great but there are two prolems;

A. The 'code' bar of the core is sticked on it and cannot be removed so sometimes it's over heats.

B. Everyone are telling me "It's old, you should change"... Is it right? It's 8 chach and it's great for me.

3. I would like to get recommendation of a new mother-board that's supporting my core + high capacity of ram.
4. The program "speed fan"'s telling me that my HDD is over heating, but on the "Hdd smarts" of thiers, it's never been over 35°c.
+ it's says this: The overall fitness for this drive is 97%. The overall performance for this drive is 97%. - Should I be worried?

So my system is this:

Core i7 930i

Mother board: x58a ud3r GIGABYTE

Graphics card: GT970X mini

Power supply: SeaSonic M12II 620 Power Supply

Case: 500R Crosair

Ram: 5 sticks of 2GB and 1 of 4GB. - Mainfuactor is Kingstone.

Big thank you for helping me, I LOVE Linus's videos, I hope that you guys are great as he's saying.

Yoker.

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

300$ maybe? I would like a Gigabyte one. I know they're pretty much the most expnsive, but I would like to buy the most "basic" of the best.

I've tried the software, and it's telling me that everything is ok, apart from "extensive" usage.

1. your system supports (CPU) 24GB of ram max it can be found here http://ark.intel.com/products/41447/Intel-Core-i7-930-Processor-8M-Cache-2_80-GHz-4_80-GTs-Intel-QPI

2.B if it works it works but what kind of stuff do you do on your pc? in for gaming grab a new gpu, video editing get a new cpu and motherboard

3.for your LGA1366 socket i would recommend this one it is the only one available and it is from asus (at the bottom of the reply)

4.i wouldn't worry but try keeping important stuff on a nas or offsite (HDD that you backup your stuff on monthly) and to be sure try the HDtune benchmark it will say if the HDD has any read errors and such

On sunday i'll request a price from the store, if they're still selling.

I don't like buying "high price" items on ebay and such as this...

Any how, I'm very thankful for your help! :-) I think that for now it's ok.
