Need help with OS installation

Okay, so I am trying to make a bootable USB for windows 8.1. My windows copy is on a disc, so I'm trying to get it on the usb. To do this, I am trying to use Rufus, but when I put in the windows disc, I can't find any "ISO" file. All of the guides I have looked up talk about an ISO file but there isn't one, just a bunch of random folders.

Download ImgBurn and use it to make an ISO of the disk:

Be careful of the adware it tries to install, it can be installed without them just pay attention when installing. You should be able to figure out how to make an ISO of a disk, otherwise look up a tutorial or ask here.

Once you make the ISO image you can use Rufus to put that on the USB.

An ISO image is an image of a full disk. It isn't present on the disk, but instead can be made from the disk and then used to make another identical disk.
