I'm new at this PC world (modifications, upgrading), and wanted to see what the group thought since everyone of you can run circles around me. I think I should start with upgrading my ram, but I'm pretty sure I should do the processor. I'm also sure that I'll be told to throw out what I have and build new. I just want to get my feet wet before jumping in. Below is what I currently have. Thanks to anyone will to help me out!

I would recommend getting another 1155 chip. Get an i5, like the 3570. You don't need to get the K version. Also upgrade your ram to 8GB and get a discrete GPU. Pending on what PSU you have, you might have to upgrade that as well.

Your ram is a good amount. You might want to get a better processor, like a core i3 or i5 that has 4 cores.

I recomend an i5 3470.

Here is a search on newegg for the types of processors I was talking about.
