Hello there!

I'ts going to be pay day soon, so i'll be getting the first pieces of my planned rig. The part that really I'm not sure is the PSU. I will get the Corsair AX860 860W 80 Plus Platinum.

These are my parts:

  • Gigabyte Z87X-OC
  • Intel Core i5-4670K
  • Thermaltake Water Extreme 2.0
  • Samsung 840 SSD Series 500GB
  • Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB SATA3 64MB
  • nVidia GeForce GTS 450
  • 1680x1050 resolution

These are the new parts and the ones that I actually have and will be using for the moment. I'm planning ong getting not too far away:

Dual SLI GTX780

Dual or Triple 1920x1080 resolution monitors

Custom watercooling

I gues that it's a pretty powerful PSU, but better safe than sorry, so I thought of coming to the forums and ask  :)

Thanks a lot!

That build looks good, just get a new GPU soon.

You see that he gets dual 780s, don't you? xP

To OP: Power should be no problem. There's even some headroom for overclocking and additional components.
