Go to solution Solved by Midnitewarrior4,

Thanks for the help, I'll see what I can do. Also for my noctua NH-D14 heatsink, I have those 2 split off of the cpu fan header, would it work a bit better if I took off the splitter, put one fan on the cpu header and the other on the asst fan1 header on my motherboard next to it?

Ya. I think the reason they add a splitter is for if your mobo doesn't have 2 headers. And you can use the splitter for two of your case fans instead

Alright, so I just recently got a corsair 900D case, and I'm looking to mount my 4 noctua fans on the bottom of the window side grill, and I want to know the easiest way to get them all wired so they work properly, and even can be controlled if possible, I also need an easier way to wire the 3 fans in the front that come by default, as I don't think they are running as fast as optimal, I have the asus z97 sabertooth motherboard mark 2. What is the easiest way to get all my fans wired up, and even getting them to be controlled?

if you want all the fans controlled by the mobo and you don't have enough ports you can buy a couple splitters and it f the wires don't reach to the mobo get some extensions

Wouldn't splitting them take power away from them though? I was trying to avoid splitting them, but if that won't affect the power that they get then I can try that

it should affect the power unless your running stupid ammunts of fans off one header but by that point you will have probably fried that header. But if you run 2 fans off a header it will be fine
