I'm thinking about building a small form factor computer to take with me to college.

I plan on doing some light gaming and maybe some graphics intensive games too.

I'd also like to keep it around $700.

Here's what I came up with: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dgf823

CPU cooler is Cooler Master hyper 212 EVO

I'm also debating whether or not I want to run Ubuntu on it.

What do you guys think?

Max cooler height for that case is 150mm, a 212 Evo is around 158mm so it won't fit. A Cryorig H7 will fit and has the added benefit of 100% RAM compatibility. It also performs well, looks great and is very easy to mount.

Hyper 212 EVO won't fit in case.If you want a Mini-ITX case that fit's the 212 EVO then go with the Bitfenix Prodigy

Yeah thats probably a good choice

Probably too big for your case.

Noctua do some good small form factor coolers (E.g

)
