logitech g930 wireless headset

windows 8.1

I am having a issue with the headset that whenever i turn it on I have to go back into playback devices and manually select it as the default. The problem with this is that if I am mid game and want to use my headset instead of speakers I have to ALT + Tab to get out of the game and manually enable the headset to get sound coming through them. I want to be able to use my headset without having to manually select it in the sound menu and when i turn the headset off it automatically goes back to my speakers. Is this possible?

I don't think there's a solution. The problem lies in how Windows manages audio devices and their drivers. My secondary DAC is remembered even when unplugged, but my primary is not. Dunno if it's possible to force windows to remember a device/driver and thus act accordingly when reconnected.
