Help with some tests

Hi folks. I'm helping a friend who's an old audiophile measure some speakers.

 

That said, I have never done any measurments so far.

 

So. I've downloaded ARTA and it's a pain to understand. Basically we only need the frequency / db curve and perhaps the speaker impedance (that I could prolly measure with signal generator + oscilloscope / dedicated rlc meter, I have these things)

 

He bought the special usb interface for the job, so now we need a good mic to test speakers too.

 

If it's too complicated to do in arta, perhaps any other suggestions? Tried googling, failed to find any smart info, as I don't know shit about it. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm also considering going into that area (diy speakers amps etc) as a hobby, so I'm not afraid to learn a bit.
