Does having more RAM effects C4D rendering?

Go to solution Solved by Bleeding Moot,

Okay here are my specs

i5 3570k

Corsair Vengeance DDR3 32 GB RAM @ 1600Mhz

MSI GTX 970 4G

250 GB Crucial SSD

so my question is, does having more ram effect C4D rendering?

is there anyway I can allocate more to the program so I can render faster?

no, all cpu power goes to rendering but it is good to have a bitta ram.

just go for the good ol 16GB for rendering

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
