Hello, so I recently bought a new computer, 4690k, gtx 960 and 1 stick of Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB RAM at speed 1866. The problem is that in windows when I open task manager it says it operates at 1333 mhz and not 1866. I have Z97 PC Mate motherboard and in the BIOS it says it's at 1866 but in windows it's at 1333, does that impact performance a lot? How do I fix it?

P.S. I bought 1 stick because I'm planning to buy second one after a couple of months.

It doesn't impact performance.. The max RAM speed for your CPU is 1600Mhz. Not sure why it defaults to 1333Mhz.Go to the BIOS and change it to 1600MHz.

Are you looking at Task Manager? Cause that thing is not very reliable. Like, at all. If it says that it's at 1866 on your BIOS, then it should be at that frequency even if Windows states otherwise. Check with CPU-Z instead.
