Freesync display and GTX 970?

Get the R9 390 to use freesync ( and you get more Vram ) ( idk about R9 390 and hackintosh )

Also, get the newer NH-D15 or darkrockpro ( it comes with thermal paste so no need to buy any )

Recommend what is best, not what you preffer.

NH-D14 uses older Noctua fans, you should look at the NH-D15.

MX100 is outdated too, get the MX200 250gb instead.

The Asus 970 Strix is not a great overclocker due to having only a single 8pin power connector, while MSI and Gigabyte 970's have 8+6pin.

There is the Fractal Design R5 now too, newer than the R4.

You should look at the EVGA GS PSU's

if you plan on sli go with a 750w

850 Evo 250go ssd are better!!!

use the thermal paste that come with your cooler it's a good one

wow i didn't even know about the thermal paste in the cooler haha thanks for the tip :) and about the ssd what kind of performance increase does it have over the crucial?

If i were to upgrade to a 980 ti wich manufacturer should i choose? since the strix isn't that great of a overclocker i would like to keep it silent if possible

better reliability

Yea I'm gonna need a source for that, and that's hardly an issue when it comes to SSD's, especially from Crucial and Samsung who make some of the best.

Also, MLC is more reliable than TLC. Crucial uses MLC, Samsung only uses MLC in their Pro SSD's which cost more.

I haven't really researched the 980 Ti's, but MSI and Gigabyte are the best choices for 970's, they're bound to be great choices for 980 Ti's too, but maybe Asus stepped their game up with 980 Ti's I don't know.

Where is reliability mentioned, I see a lot of performance comparisons. These drives are almost too new for any tests to have been down to wear them out to failure.

There was a SSD torture test somewhat recently, and it took over 18 months of non-stop work for some of the SSD's to fail...

TLC is worse than MLC, this is a fact. There's a reason every 840 Evo in existence has issues with age.

Also the 850 Pro, which I said uses MLC, just so happens to be at the top. It also costs a good amount more than a MX200
