DAC or integrated sound?

Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

Onboard audio is fine. It's rare for it to be unbearably bad, but obviously a DAC will still be better.

If you're on a budget, just stick with onboard audio.

Hello, Im building my first PC and with a job that doesnt pay too much Im on a budget.  I was wondering if the integrated sound would be enough to the point where it wouldnt be too much of a bother.

My motherboard of choice is the MSI a88x-g45 gaming

The cpu is a AMD Athlon II X4 860K

The gpu is a Auss Radeon R7 260X

And finally my case is a full tower

Would electric interference be too much of a problem in this build?

for a dac that beats the onboard sound you have to spend much more
