headphones recommendations

I am planning on upgrading my pair of Turtle Beach Z60 headphones to the Kingston HyperX Cloud II headset.

I was jus wondering if there was any other headphones that are in the same price range that are a better choice.

I have a pair of Sennheiser hd518 and I recommend them 100% but if you really need the mic the hyper x clouds are a good buy.

If you absolutely need a headset, just get the version 1 HyperX Cloud's. They're the same as the Cloud 2's but they don't have the surround sound USB dongle, which is useless and isn't needed at all.

As far as gaming goes, this is just... Well, it's just wrong. The whole M50/M40, etc. line is terrible for gaming. There are many, many different headphones in the same price range that are better for gaming, not to mention that there are plenty of headphones in the price range that have significantly better sound in general. Unless you specifically need the feature set that the M series has to offer(read: folding, removable cable, closed back, and things like that), they really aren't that great of a pair of headphones.
