I have been out of the building and modding scheme for a while and i am just getting back into it... I see ASRock everywhere i look and the reviews and performance seems really good. When I first saw it, it was in walmart i thought it was a no-name product that was new..

While i have been researching parts for a new build i see that ASrock is priced really competitively and based on their performance they seem to have one of the top 3 or top 5 product lines out there ...

A couple of questions, Has anyone run into ongoing issues with this brand? Are they the Gateway PC of the twenty-first century? How would you rank them vs Asus or Gigabyte?

Looking for some education here on the brand and products, please someone school me :)

They are just as good as any other brand.

The only reason most of their boards are cheaper is only because of their lesser popularity.

AsRock has been around for more than a decade

just like any company, a new company not always jump into high-end section, because they need people attention first and usually, going for the masses strategy usually always work

in this case, they compete for low-mid, so if you never heard them, it's kinda normal.

and now since they already get their popularity, most companies stick what they choose to be their main interest to consumer who used their product in first place, and that is lower price compared from competitors while sacrificing some non-essential elements (like package/document/extra free stuff)

good? bad? how bout the first concern, is it work? because it is works just fine

just like any other component, it can be fail, use consumer protection, try them and return it if you don't feel like it (or it has a problem).

so far, I've been using them just fine, however I never recommend them due to poor customer services that we have here.
