hi guys its me, i really need the help of all of you right now, if you live in canada or in a nordic country like denmark or norway it would help a lot too.

 

so here is the thing, im studying to become an accountant, but now i realized that i cant work as one in another country (im from venezuela btw), so ive been thinking in changing my career and becoming an administrator instead, cus as far as i know its a more global career.

 

so i really need your guys help cus i dont know what to do, should i stay as an acounter or should i go with administrator, btw im in the UCAB (if that helps).

I can't find the article but it was about how technology is changing the future landscape of jobs. and obviously truck driver and the like were at the top of the list because well... self driving cars and robot automated jobs. but surprisingly accountant was equally as high on that list.

What kind of Admin are we talking?  System?  School?

 

Administrators are the people who go into a business to help run it it or decide how to close it down and sell assets etc

all an account does is math and abides by a set of rules. computers are pretty good at that so its not hard to imagine it becoming possible.

Oh, but wouldn't OP just be able to keep their major and transfer as an accountant since that's what we call an accounter?

 

the issue is that in an accountant degree you learn for all the laws of your country which are very different (eg the in depth tax law), also not all country's have that system of degree with majors etc however it is plausible that the skill sets are similar enough for a transfer to happen etc
