Reviving a dead laptop.

Should a laptop boot into the bios without a hdd/ram installed? The disk drive also clicks constantly, is it just officially dead?

It's a hp 6735s yes totally shit.

without ram it shouldnt boot to bios and the hdd needs replacing.
