Hello, I am in the process of building a new computer! So far everything is picked out for the computer, except RAM and HDD and SSD's.

My question today is what DDR4 RAM would you recommend? What Speeds?

(preferring 300$ or less)

Probably going for just 32GB RAM, that should be more then enough.     (4 sticks at 8GB each)

speeds dont matter?

Not in real world applications. There is a difference with heavy workloads, such as compression and larger rendering jobs, but even then the differences are very small. In general, the speeds of the RAM don't matter because of how small the difference is.
