Cheapest Haswell CPU?

Have you tried your 4690k in it? I would look around your area and see if there's a computer shop that can help you with it and pay them like $10.

You could just get a 4670K and not have to update the bios...

 

But it's the Intel Celeron G1820 from SuperBizz if you're in the US.

Yeah, I have tried the 4690K. I might look at driving two hours south to the nearest computer store. @CatzRuleZWorld

 

Already bought the 4690k @niofalpha I might get the celeron, thanks.

I don't mean like a micro center. Like there's a place 3 minutes away from me where one guy just has piles of computer parts that he sells and builds for people.

I know, I live in AU and the nearest computer shop is 2 hours away. Not as readily available as in the US. And there are no people around like you said that I know of. Thanks for your help.

Since you're in the AU then the cheapest Haswell based CPU would be the Intel Pentium G3420 from CPL.
