Ok, so I've been sitting here for like an hour with my s340 manual and my motherboard manual, and I've tried literally EVERY POSITION in the JFP1 header area on my motherboard, but I still can't get my power button LED working. I've tried every positive+negative orientation possible. I'm wondering if the LED is dead. Help needed. If you haven't checked my sig, my motherboard is a MSI B85M E45.

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

You can try testing using a 3V watch battery to test to see if the LED is dead on the unit, if not then there is something wrong with the connections or inside some BIOS's they let you turn off those LED's.

I tested it, and after I tested it (without even moving the connectors) it worked, idk what was up but its k now

Lol just being stubborn, maybe just a bad electrical connection previously or something.
