windows corrupted, need major help...

nah i have a dedicated ssd for windows. 

then it should be fine. Just make sure it isnt a hardware problem by checking if its recognized in the bios/ windows installer.

 

if you have a 2nd pc, and you might be able to transfer over any large programs before the reinstall

so i booted up today and this is the error i got...

if you cant read it, it says A required device isn't connected or can't be accesed. 

 

Error code:0xc000000e 

 

You'll need to use the recovery tools on the your install.....

 

so i did plug in my windows USB, and went on recovery and did a couple options, i went to see if i can do a system refresh. but it says that the drive my windows is installed on is locked. i did a system restore but its not accessing the drive windows is installed on.  so i dont know what to do from here.

 

i think the problem started last night, i pressed shut down. the screen shut off but my pc was still ruining (would hear fans and led's were all on) so i pressed the power button till it shut off. i think i corrupted windows or something. 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

since you tried to do a restore, im assuming you have accepted that you will loose your data.

 

Try running the windows installer, and seeing if the hdd shows up as a selection

yes it was a hard file crash unfortuante;y i cant give any insight on how to fix it

if i do install windows, it will only delete stuff on the drive im installing it to right? not my 4 other storage drives?

yes, it will format only the drive you are installing to. also be careful if these are partitions on the same drive, as you might need to format the whole drive
