Dual Monitors with MSI GTX 980 4G?

So I am going to pick up 2 or 3 monitors (Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0" Monitor).

I also have the MSI GeForce GTX 980 4G.

 

I see that the monitor has 1 Dual Link DVI port, and the graphics card only has 1 Dual Link DVI Port aswell.

To my understanding VGA and HDMI are a no go. You need DVI for 144hz display since HDMI is capped at 60hz?

 

My question is.... Will each montior have the 144hz refresh rate? and How would I got along setting the montiors up so that all the monitors have the 144hz refresh?

haha sorry, just trying to learn..... Display port works at 144hz 1ms?..... So I would buy 2 display port cables and hook each one individually up to the monitor? no need to use DVI?

Yes you can use two DP cables with that GPU.  From the looks of it that monitor only comes with a dual link DVI cable so to save some cash you can just get 1 DP cable.
