That GPU you chose is fine. The most "difficult" task you'll have to do when moving the components is to figure out how to remove the ODD to remove the MB.

Yes. It has standard cables. (4 Pin Aux CPU, SATA Power for HDD and ODD, 24 Pin for MB, mb-powered cards, CPU, RAM...)

I don't feel comfortable making someone use a GPU out of power connector adaptors.

If you want to push it... Need the full specs of the PSU.

There's a sticker with cells with information about the PSU rails and all that. And as it's acer the PSU I assume is from FSP, another way to identify it would be the model number (It'd start with FSP and followed by some numbers and letters). And in case it's good enough to push it, I need to know if it's 2x Molex cables for the adaptor

but otherwise a 500w should be more than enough for 750 ti?

I'm running a GTX 750 Ti out of a 180 W PSU...

It's not a matter of how much power the PSU says it can deliver, the point here is how much power can actually offer and if it is a quality PSU.

Looking to the specs of the M5300, the PSU should run your actual PC+GTX 750Ti, as the specs of a M5300 have a similar power draw.

Yep. I bought it for my few games (Civ series, GTA V, MC and the not so difficult to run TF2) and works nicely

I've a 1080p monitor and settings on high and my average is around 50 FPS.

IDK how GTA V will run with 4 GB of RAM, I've 8 GB of RAM and when I run GTA V my system uses around 4,5-5 GB, dunno if it's because my background stuff but I can't answer to you for the 4 GB stuff, it might stutter, might not, a lot of things can happen... The best thing you'd do is to search if there's any benchmark with 4 GB of RAM

I'm very into a lot of games, that few I mentioned is nearly my collection

Looking at this benchmark

You should get around 40 FPS if you change to mid settings and a few to high at 1080p

Also keep in mind that guy used an i3... you might have a sandy bridge i5, but your i5 is better than that.

Yes, but I need to know first one detail that could save you some money: is it 1 of 2 sticks of RAM installed?

To guess it you can open your PC or download CPU-z and check in the "SPD" tab to see which slots are populated

You can upgrade to 8 GB.

I asked because if you had one stick of 4 GB you'd buy another one, but that's not the case...
