Hi i made a thread last night requesting help with parts for my first build and i got no replys, could anyone give me feedback on my parts i have chose for my first pc and if i can get a better part for the same price range, i have already purchased the hdd, case, cpu, cpu cooler and os. this is the parts list http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/xtsq23 thanks in advance for any help.

Same case as mine and it looks solid!

 

And well I am not sure but if the 390 is same price as 970 consider it!  Unless you got alot of cash get 390X!

 

Edit: You probably only need 3 fans. 2 front 1 rear. (stock fans are a bit noisy but I have it on the table next to me so...)

Edit2: The PSU should be at 550W minimum and 650W is even better!

Thanks ill have a look at the 390, i am buying 4 120mm fans so i have 1 spare and 2 80mm fans for near the hdd cages

 

Okay what psu would you reccomend then but i want fully modular because i am sleeving the cables myself

I don't really get the logic behind this build... 3 x 120mm fans and 2 x 80mm fans with an ultra quiet PSU.

Just use a moderate amount of fans, since you'll most likely end up unplugging them one by one. The noise will kill you.

get different ssd Kingston ones are slow get hier wattage psu with yhat gpu like 600w or get 970 over 390

To people that didnt read my first post i already purchased some of the parts and they have arrived and i love the haf xb evo case, i chose the psu because i read up alot about them but if you have a suggestion im all ears, the fans are so i have cooling from the front, rear and for the hdd cages.

I changed the:

1. SSD - stay away from the Kingston SSD you chose since it has issues common to a lot of its users, the 850 EVO that I suggested however is well regarded and is at the same price point with the same capacity.
2. PSU - EVGA PSUs are well regarded and this one is cheaper than the Corsair RM you picked and has higher wattage for future upgrades, 80+ gold efficiency and is fully modular.

so so far i have now ordered my mobo the msi h97 gaming 3 and am now saving for my next part, this is gonna take a while as i have only just turned 17 and am currently searching for a job the uk is shite for electritian jobs atm so ill keep you updated as and when i buy my next part
