Looking for computer build help

Hi forums so after thinking too much on a computer build I come here to ask for some help since I already pulled some hair along the process trying to figure out what´s the best for my needs.

Budget and Location:

- Preference below £1300;
- Portugal;
- Preference buying from outside the country since it ends cheaper than on Portugal;
 

Aim:
 

- Video rendering with Sony Vegas;
- Ability to record games with Open Broadcaster Software with good quality for YouTube;
- Two up to three weekly videos uploaded to YouTube is also one of the objectives;
- 1080p for YouTube is a must;
- Can run most games at 1080p 60fps with high settings;
- Soft video editing only;

Monitors:

- Need one monitor;
- Expecting something 60Hz, high response time since it´s for gaming;
- Good replacement for my current CRT Screen and that doesn´t hurt my back while moving it from time to time and that doesn´t strain my eyes so much on long sessions;

Peripherals:

- Need Operative System;
- Webcam although I got a Logitech c270 but not a must;

Graphic Card:

- Can either be AMD or Nvidia;
- Needs to run stable at 1080p 60fps on high settings on most games and upcoming ones;
- Prefer MSI for Graphic Cards but this is biased on reviews I saw so opinions are welcome;

Case:

- Good airflow;
- Easy to open and work it;
- Something that can last for several years;
- That I can have easy access to clean if needed;

Power Supply:

- Gold/Platinum;
- Either Corsair or EVGA;
- 550-650W Power Supply;
- Fully Modular;


Why are you upgrading:

-Current computer can´t handle 60fps 1080p on high settings let alone minimum on most;
- Upgrade from an i3 3,07GHz;
- Graphic Card ATI Radeon HD 5450 (1GB);

Additional info:

- This build is meant for a project that I will work on and will use Indiegogo Crowdfunding source to help me;

- Used only Amazon.co.uk for all the components;

Case:
-Corsair 780T;

Processor:
- Intel Core i5-4690k;

Solid State Drive:
- Crucial BX100 120GB;

Power Supply:
- Corsair AX760Watts;

RAM:
- HyperX Fury 2x4GB DDR3 1866MHz;

CPU Cooler:
- Noctua NH-D14;

Motherboard:
- MSI Z97 Gaming 5;

DvD Writter:
- Samsung 24x;
- Mostly for installing the Operative System;

Operative System:
- Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium;
- Same as my current one but when I left to repair my computer once I left the Installation CD and it vanished on the process...-.-;



Hopefully you guys can help me out with a good build that does the same as the one I did that can lower the value but still keeping good quality components that I can count on.

On the Power Supply I tried to get the Superflower 650Watts Gold Fully Modular Supply, but funny is it ended £5 cheaper than the Corsair AX760 after the shipping fees,etc but I think I might overdid on the Power Supply.

Case and CPU Cooler are also one of my concerns but I don´t intend to overclock my CPU also I selected the HyperFuryX due to it´s automatic overclocking since I have no experience with this but any ideas on other RAM´s that can do the same works with me.

That is a very good build.  You can spend a bit less on some components:

 

PSU - 760 watts is too much.  500 to 600 watts is plenty, unless you might do SLI in the future.  in that case, 600 is bare minimum.  Corsair Ax series PSU are very high end though, so you have picked a good one.

 

Cooler - definitely way more than you will ever need.  That cooler is for heavy overclocking.  Besides, you will get much more benefit spending that money on upgrading to i7 4790 instead.  Stock Intel cooler is totally fine.  I've been using it on my i5 4690k for 8 months now.

 

Case - 780T is a good case but very big and very expensive.  Around here, we LTT forum peeps like the Fractal Design Define R5, or the NZXT H440.  They are a good size, quiet, simple, very high quality, and good value.

 

OS - no need to spend money on new OS.  If you still have the key from your old Win 7, you should be able to download it and use your old key.  Or find a friend with the disc but use your key.  You will get free upgrade to Win 10. 

 

DVD - you can probably omit this.  Load windows using USB stick.

 

everything else is fine.  Monitor is very hard to chose, but BenQ is good for the price normally.  HyperX Ram is good, and whatever SSD you can find on sale will be fine.  I recommend getting larger capacity and using it as your main drive.  It makes a big difference for programs and games.

Ok took your advice and changed some components and squeezed the value into alot less, however not sure a higher SSD Capacity will benefit me that much to be honest.

Also found my Windows CD-Key, now question is where can I get a clean download for the Operative System.

Is there anything else that can be changed or it´s ok like this?

Ok so found my CD-Key doesn´t let me do a copy throught microsoft site.

"The product key you entered appears to be for software that was pre-installed on a device.  Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options."

So my only option is buying Windows 7 Home Premium.

You could get a key from G2A for Windows 8.1, then update to Windows 10. It is £15 at the moment

FX-8370 good work CPU but i7-4790 is better + 390 cause 8GB of VRAM is a good idea for video editing and rendering.

 

And speaking of RAM you should have 16GB of ram!

Seems a really good price and appreciate your time looking for it but wouldn´t benefit me since I would need to get a stronger RAM to accommodate the Windows 8, and I prefer the Windows 7 alot more than the 8.

Well perhaps but their brand new graphic cards and to be honest I prefer to choose something that is more safe to spend even if less 4GB of VRAM, and that was reviewed extensively already, because most of the glitter those new graphic cards have are mostly advertising power AMD created to sell in the spot, that´s why they are selling the Graphic Cards with some time in between.

And about RAM 8GB for my needs will suffice I just want to do soft video editing and rendering so I allocated those extra £40 in something else along with the almost £80 from the i7-4790k/i5-4690k difference, and I prefer more the Intel CPU´s.

And since this build is meant to be crowdfunded with Indiegogo for a personal project I have to consider the other side of the people that can donate to me.

Not always the newest and the most "OMG New Graphics I must haz it" is the best choice, hope you can understand my side. =p
