Help! Need PC Master guide

Hi, i'm new here. i need advice for my pc build

 

mother board -Asus z97 pro-gamer

cpu   -i7 4790             

gpu   -MSI gtx 750 ti  twin frz            

ram   -G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL             

ssd    -samsung 850 evo 120gb        

hdd   -wd  black 1 tb          

psu   -corasir cxm 600w

casing    -nzxt phatom 630

 

it cost $1275 dollar in my country indonesia

 

not planning to overclock the cpu

 

QUESTION

 

1. is there anything wrong with my build? any mistake?

2. if i plan to upgrade the ram from 2 to 4, do i need to change to quad channel or just add another 2 same series ram?

3. is it bang for the bucks?

Don't buy the i7 with that GPU that seems kinda stupid IMO

Use of PC?

- Don't go for a locked i7 + Z97 Motherboard, either go for a B85 / H87 Motherboard or change your CPU to an i7-4790k or i5-4690k.

- If you're gaming, drop down to an i5-4440 (if you don't want to OC) and get a GTX960.

- You can get away with a WD Blue or WD Green, which are always cheaper.

- I'd not recommend going above 16GB of Ram regardless, Even 16GB won't be used in gaming. Rather go 8GB and beef the GPU up.

 

Bang for the buck? Not really, You could get away with a much cheaper case too.

i only use it for dota 2 and since i'm planning to take computer science major, someday i will upgrade the gpu, since i only play dota 2 now. 

 

Question

-if i go for H motherboard instead of Z, H has less slot than Z right? so it's hard for upgrade??

Build you posted is not balanced and bad value for money.

I doubt that you will actually need i7 but if you really want it just add it to build I posted (get 4790K though, it must have "K" in the name)

You don't need that expensive MBO, in fact you can change MBO from my build for cheaper Z97 MBU without loosing performance, just get any Z97 MBO from good brand and unless you do a LOT of video editing you probably won't need 16GB of ram 8 is plenty.

Is this for gaming? If it is, drop the i7, go for an i5 4460 and get a better gpu like a r9 290. You also don't need more than 8gb of ram, and you can safely go for something cheaper.
