Hey guys I am planning on buying a keyboard and I had my eyes set on the corsair k70 rgb keyboard however I realise that I don't need 16.8 million colours on my keyboard because I am not going to be focusing my attention there. So no I am looking to buy a new keyboard but I wanted to know if any of you have a good mechanical keyboard that you would recommend me to buy. Some things I want in the keyboard: Some sort of back lighting, Anti ghosting if possible, cherry MX brown, a wrist rest and have it look over all good. It would be preferable if they keyboard costs a crap ton of money.

Logitech G710+, has white backlit keys, Cherry MX Brown Switches, has a removable wrist rest, and as a bonus has anti-ghosting keys. It's 130 dollars USD on Logitech's website, but you can get it on Amazon for 85 dollars, at this point in time. Also, Linus uses it as a daily driver, if that makes any difference to you ;)

Don't worry the K70 can only actually display 512 colours. NVM apparently they fixed it :)

The G710+ is nice and comes with O-rings preinstalled which I like.

"It would be preferable if they keyboard costs a crap ton of money"... are you sure? :P If you don't mind getting a good deal Massdrop often has keyboards at a good price.

You don't want a keyboard cause you can custom color it? I have the K70 red switches and I love it.

Its not because of custom colour its because of the price. I realize that I don't need that much colour customization because I am not going to be staring at my keyboard while I am playing a game. And so the extra price for the keyboard is not worth it to me. If i have no budget limit maybe I would get the keyboard but that is not the case here.

AFAIK Pok3rs don't have backlight (yet)

My friend mainly uses it as a travel keyboard for use with his laptop. The absence of backlight draws less power. :P

Also, OP said he doesn't want a backlight apparently...

Last sentence.

I see how I may have miss led you. What I was trying to say is that i don't need a multi colour back lighting keyboard but i would like to have 1 colour back lighting because back lighting is nice:D Sorry for that.

oh, well in that case, like Frost Byte said, G710+ is great.

Also, there's the non-RGB, slightly older corsair keyboards that are still mechanical and function the same. They just don't look as good. Also, if you're going by looks they also don't have a tramp-stamp on them, so that's a plus. Also, corsair recently announced their strafe keyboard, I don't know any exact pricing but it's single-colour backlit and still mechanical and everything. It's newer than the old corsair keyboards that i recommended AND it doesn't have a tramp-stamp logo. Damn, this is a great keyboard.
