CM Storm Devastator Help.

I was planning on purchasing the CM Storm Devastator combo as I'm on a budget and, through looking at reviews, it seems well enough for me to buy. One concern I have would be the mouse. The mouse and the keyboard do not come with any drivers or software for reprogramming any other keys. I'm not as concerned for the keyboard, but since the mouse has two side buttons, I was planning to reprogram those to usable ones in games. My main question now, are the two side buttons registered as actual keys like Mouse 1-etc. or are would I actually have to download external software that will allow button remapping?

You can configure them ingame for the mouse. For example in LoL just press the mouse button in the settings to get registered as activate item slot 6.

Then it would make more sense to not buy anything, Devastator is office grade with LED´s.

Well I'm in the need for a new keyboard and mouse(I'm currently using a really terrible mouse and keyboard combo from HP which uses a nearly flat mouse and flat key caps) and I can't stand using them anymore. I plan on getting a CM Storm Ultimate and a Logitech G502 as future upgrades when money isn't entirely an issue.
