I'm looking for a decent psu that's 600-700w around the 70-110 budget around.

I came across this:

I'm just wondering how reliable antec psu are, and also looking for suggestions and recommendations.

Thank you in advance :)

It's good but not great. Antec psus are generally solid but the linked psu isn't amazing despite the platinum rating.

It would help to list what your plan to power.

Moved to Cases and Power Supplies.

I don't really like Antec PSU's imo. Get something like EVGA or Corsair

No. EarthWatts Platinum are only good for efficiency and nothing else. Voltage regulation and ripple suppression are actually quite awful.

Look at something like the EVGA 650GS or 750B2 instead.

That is not how that works.... Neither of those brands actually manufacture their own PSUs. Antec usually goes to Seasonic or Delta for OEMs and both are superb. Many Antec PSUs are amazing. EVGA doesn't make the PSUs either - they usually go to Seasonic and Superflower, at least for their high-end units like the B2 and up and the GS series. Corsair doesn't make PSUs as well. The only things decent from them these days are the older AXs which were made by Seasonic and the new RMi which is actually quite amazing. Most Corsair PSUs are actually wildly overpriced for what you get.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

This, but the Earthwatts Platinum is unfortunately is made by FSP, which means epic efficiency, but pretty meh performance everywhere else.

I was generalizing most Antec PSUs. For the most part they have great stuff.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Check Johnny Guru, best site for PSUs reviews, i can't tell you exactly what to get, depends on availability, prize on your region, and in the end, what you think is good for you. But as long as you get informed and get a unit that a site like johnny guru says it's good, you can have peace of mind that you are getting a good PSU. I linked one i think it's very good based on my own personal experience (I have the 850W version)

Honestly the huge price increase from the GS to the G2 isn't worth it.

Anyway, just saying, anything 80+ gold from EVGA should be great, i got mine on black friday for 108$ (850 watts) so maybe i don't consider price that much but all options stay within his price point, i just happen to have personal experience with the G2 850W and its awesome.
