are there any decent free webhosting services

I want to create a small personal website with stuff like a blog, a gallery for sketchfab models, and maybe some youtube videos. I need to be able to modify html, css, and javascript. Are there any free options or do they all cost money? If so are there any one-time fee ones? I hate subscriptions.

not free if u want ur own domain name, buy a domain. I know a buddy who could host it for u for a small fee he has fiber i think.

As funny as it sounds, they actually have a pretty decent cPanel and Webhosting solution for small-ish websites. Obviously it's a case of Bring your own domain though.
