How could i fix this task manager lag:  http://i.gyazo.com/15ae913b07176ca5507b32c586dcacf4.pngit says that my cpu runs at 5,13GHz when its really at 4.2?

Or Intel Turbo Boost really works well :D

its a stupid broken program

stop using windows 8 task manager

Or Intel Turbo Boost really works well :D

Use CPU-z to verify the speeds. And if you're getting system hangups you can use the SysInternals suite to monitor the system.

Windows 8 task manager is actually excellent. It's far better than Windows 7 task manager.

Windows 8 task manager is actually excellent. It's far better than Windows 7 task manager.

Fair enough. My motherboard doesn't support overclocking and I've never overclocked a CPU, so I wouldn't know.

This should be fixed in Windows 10.

Do you have Hyper-V enabled by any chance in your Windows 8? It is known to screw up the task manager CPU clock frequency.
