So ive been planning this build for a while now and I was wondering what monitor setup I should get my specs are

5960x 980ti strix x2 (when it comes) and I was wondering if I should get surround 1440p or a 4k monitor flanked by two 1440Ps

and also what monitors I should get too

try to keep them cheap I don't have much spending money after this build

I'd recommend against different resolution monitors, especially if you plan on using scaling on your 4K monitor which is more than likely. I think a good 1440p 144Hz display would be a better option than 4K unless you want a really large monitor, but it's your choice. The Dell P2415Q and P2715Q (for 24" or 27" respectively) are the best value 4K monitors, or you could spring for the ASUS MG279Q if you'd rather go 1440p.

If you want to play in surround just get three 1080p/1440p monitors.  If you don't, get one 4k monitor or one 1440p, 144hz monitor.  One 4k + two 1440 monitors doesn't make sense.
