Acer Predator X34

Hi,

 

I was looking around for a new monitor and found that the acer preadator was instock at a well known online UK retailer which I thought was a bit strange as I understood this monitor wasn't going to be available until august. So I contacted the company to check if this was a mistake or not and they said that it wasn't a mistake and they had it instock so I placed my order and received a confirmation email saying it will be delivered on the 26th of June. Is this monitor being released earlier in the UK than the U.S. or something as im sure I read from acer than it wasn't going to be released until august?

Everywhere I've looked they all say August release, and I think I checked all the major tech retailers in the UK maybe I missed something?

Wouldn't have expected them to even list it yet tbh lol, maybe they have it but somehow didn't know it isn't meant to be released yet? 

Whatever happens please keep me updated in this thread! Will be interesting to see if they actually send it or not. 

 

But all the tech stores in the UK that do list it all have pre orders till August listed, would be strange for very.co.uk to have some kind of exclusivity deal aha.

Yeah same as I thought I checked scan and it says pre-order there, strange very have it just hope they haven't made a mistake lol

Unfortunately guys I have bad news today I contacted the company again as I noticed they changed the availability of the monitor to Out of Stock which kind of made me worry if I would still get mine by the 27th of June it turns out they had made a mistake and the monitor will not be available till August so for the time being I have cancelled my order as spending that sort of money and having to wait 2 month is too long imo. I'm now also wondering if a 4k monitor would be more suitable as it will have less issues being with res being 16:9 standard
