new system build(1500 euro)

Bsmith

hello folks!

I'm going to order a system this Friday or Tuesday, although im still not sure about the CPU i should get.

current pcpartpickerbuild:

The pc will mostly be used for gaming, rendering(photoshop RAW files, videos and every now and then a 3d model)

So yeah pretty much the average PC on this forum i guess.

my priorities are pretty much like this:

part temperature  <performance < silence.

so yeah, silence is the most important thing for me.

If you guys have any recommendations for better parts for the price(or cheaper) don't be afraid to change anything :) (except for the strix which already lies here)

altough pcpartpicker is set to german, the prices will be pretty different here in the netherlands, for example the barracuda's are roughly the 2TB versions for just a bit lower and for the PSU i found a 800w full modular 80+ gold for about 160 euro instead of the 180 euro for 750w plat 80+.

thanks already =)

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

The I5-4690K is a pretty common place CPU for mid to upper mid tier gamers/content creators. If you have the money for an i7 and want one, then go for it :P

hhhhmmm i may take that back..you may wanna spring for a mid tier or upper tier I5 and use the money to get a GTX980ti instead?

I just know that running GTA5 on ultrahigh 1080p settings takes up pretty much all of my 980s 4GB of VRAM so i have to tone it back a bit.

oh missed OP where you already have the card :P But The sad part is i dont go over 1080p either xD The game just has so much going on that you can tweak and play with in the graphics settings that you can easily top out 4GB of VRAM xD Thats the only reason i wanted to get a Titan X or a ti
