I have been searching for an upgrade from the integrated on Bose QuietComfort 20s, it will mainly be for skype and maybe recording in the future.

One of the ones I have leaned towards is the Blue Snowball or Yeti, any other suggestions?

Budget: $120 usd max

If you want it for skype and attatched to your headset - ModMic

If you want a mic for voiceovers, Rode Podcaster (worth the extra over the yeti 100%)

I like my mxl v67g, they had a kit with one on massdrop, pair that with a blue xlr to USB converter and it's a slick setup

If you really want to spend that much on a microphone, maybe the AT2020?

If you don't want to spend that much (and the one I personally own), get a CAD u37. (Not to be mistaken with the terrible CAD u1 and is great for the price)

I'm loving the ModMic at the moment, but if you want a desk mic, go for the Blue Yeti Snowball.
