Weird Audio Problem

Any other browser doing that?

sorry, i was busy. i found the solution.

 

the problem is windows. every time it expects a mic input in silences the audio output by up to 80%.

you can disable this under control panel -> hardware and sound -> sound -> communication

When I open a new tab on my laptop in chrome the audio gets noticeably quieter and the sound turns tinny. If I switch back to another tab it does away. It doesnt matter which programme is the audio source.

I have no idea what could possibly cause this.

Any help is appreciated.
