I've been torn between HyperX Fury and Muskin Enhanced Blackline. The Muskin will go PERFECT with my build and does have a higher speed which seems to balance out the latency. but something just brings me back to the Fury.

HyperX Fury White Series 8GB (2x4GB) 240-pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC312800)

CAS 10

speed 1600

_______

and

______

Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM 2400 (PC3 19200)

CAS 11 (11-13-13-31)

speed 2400

speed dosent really mater you know, Linus did a video about this some time ago, so just go for what suits your build and color code best

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

HyperX are very reliable, I don't know about Mushkin though, never heard of them before, also you can always overclock your ram too so might as well get the hyper X

Early 2020 Build : Intel i7 8700k // MSI Krait Z370 // Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Aorus 5700 XT // NZXT H500

Early 2019 Build : Ryzen 2600X // Asus Tuff X470 // G.Skill Trident Z RGB 8x2 16GB // MSI RTX 2070 // NZXT H500

Late 2017 Build : Intel i7 8700k // Asus Prime Z370-A // G.Skill Trident Z 8x2 16GB // EVGA GTX 1080 Ti  // NZXT S320 Elite

Late 2015 Build : Intel i7 6700k // Asus Maximus VI Gene Z170 //  Corsair LPX 8x2 16GB // Gigabyte GTX 970 // Corsair Air 240

It is very unlikely to get a 1600mhz ram kit to 2400, gotta be lucky with that. Mushkin is a really good brand, teksyndicate uses them in almost every build he does. How much will they cost you?

My Rig: AMD Ryzen 5800x3D | Scythe Fuma 2 | RX6600XT Red Devil | B550M Steel Legend | Fury Renegade 32GB 3600MTs | 980 Pro Gen4 - RAID0 - Kingston A400 480GB x2 RAID1 - Seagate Barracuda 1TB x2 | Fractal Design Integra M 650W | InWin 103 | Mic. - SM57 | Headphones - Sony MDR-1A | Keyboard - Roccat Vulcan 100 AIMO | Mouse - Steelseries Rival 310 | Monitor - Dell S3422DWG

There are hyper x fury black ramsticks, the speed won't affect, plus, hyper x is more known than mushkin

Case: NZXT phantom CPU:I5-4460 GPU:MSI-GTX1070 Gaming X RAM:2x4Gb-DDR3-HyperX fury MOBO:Asus Z97-P HDD:Toshiba 1Tb 7200rpm PSU:Sentey650W

I would go with the Fury because of the lower CAS latency. This video may help:

But if the Mushkin kit looks better, go with it?

Yeah I have been a fan of linus, thus the forum post, and have watched almost every relevant video for my build. And I have heard quite the deal of people saying mushkin is good, but there are a ton of fanboys for the big and expensive brands out there who plaster comments everywhere.

Will most likely go with the muskin since the radioactive emblem and yellow/green color will be perfect.

they are about $66  vs 56 for the hyperx. but with the 4th of july sales coming around, could drop.
