Which Graphics Card?

I think this is the final answer. Now do you think It's worth putting Sabertooth in with the led ram or no?

For your own personal esthetic/enthusiast look? Yes, if that's what you want, because it looks pretty sweet.

For performance per dollar? No, as it's not giving you better performance for paying more.

And because I'm a brand matching whore... I'd change your Power Supply to NZXT. xD

Did you get some answers on which monitor you wanted to get in the forums?

Edit:

There is a cheaper NZXT but it's only Bronze Rated, not sure if you would like that, so I kept the Gold Rated one. But there is a Bronze rated one that is lower price that would work, and it's NZXT.

I think this is the final answer. Just switch out the ram and motherboard and that's what I'm going with. I feel like with the last month choosing all the other parts and today finalizing them I feel more than happy with everything. Thanks man!!!! Now the wait till July 10th for the card to ship!

As I look at this more and more I'm thinking about going either the 970 or 980 HOF with the sabertooth and the "fancy" ram. Why even consider the 980 you probably ask. Well the 970 HOF is already $420 and the 980 HOF is sitting at $520 right now which is around reference price. So would it be worth it to go with the 980 instead of the 970 at 1080 or is the gain not worth $100

Well the 970 will give you the 60fps in (almost) every game, so there is no issue with the FPS. (Any game that doesn't get 60fps on the 970 will most likely get the same results on the 980 as the difference is only 5-10fps)

That extra $100 will give you about 5-10fps difference in games (video below). So there is a difference, but idk if it's worth the $100. At the same time the 970 Hof is $100 more than the other cards... so that's also even more money... (these are the tough choices man.)

Another difference is the 970 really only has 3.5GB of VRAM. While the 980 has a full 4GB of VRAM.

But, here is a video showing that you don't really need more than 3.5GB with current games... Maybe future games will require more though.

I think you are stuck on having to get the HoF to match the build.

If you are going to go all out, like youre doing with the motherboard and ram, you might as well do it with the Video Card as well.

I say get the 980ti HoF with 6GB of Ram. :P

Just looked up a video to make sure that AIO Cooler would fit in your case, and this is what I found... Skip to 8:30

In short, it looks like there is no way to top mount your radiator w/fans. You can only put your radiator w/fans on the front panel.

idk what you think. so I'll wait for a response.

:P yea, i remember having issues with my AIO, just glad I/you remember to take a look at it.

@vSyNd1c4t3 thank you so much for your help on this. I finally feel confident enough to pull the trigger on this build and hopefully I'll get some pictures up later on the forms when I fully pull that trigger! Thanks again!!!!! ^_^

Np man, glad to help. You are going to have 1 fun, good looking, badass PC! You better @(my name) when you post pics on the forums, so I can see it all done. jk, you can do what you want. :D

here are 2 other cases you could use that seem to support the x61 Kraken a lot better. Both still Mid Tower Cases.
