Hello I am building my first computer with a 1000 US dollar budget.

I use to play on a Xbox 360 but I have decided to transfer to PC gaming.

I would like it to play games like bf4 on mid settings at a steady frame rate.

I also need a WiFi adapter recommendation I have a 60 Mbps connection.

Any suggestions on how to improve it.

Here is my build:

First off, with that budget you DONT get the 8350 for gaming, m8... go for an i5, PLEASE

Second, the CPU cooler - you are better off with the Hyper 212 EVO

Third - the V300 SSD is crap

Fourth - better GPU can be fitted in your budget definitely

Fifth - You can get Windows on reddit for like 20 dollars ;) I got Office 2013 there for 25, no regrets

^^ this. Except replace the 212 Evo with a Be Quiet! Pure Rock.

I would recommend an i3, or i5 for gaming, and an A-Data SP920 for the SSD.

Unless you're in a really hot state, or planning on doing heavy OC'ing, you are not going to need a non-stock fan.

if you are just a die hard fan of AMD and an AMD cpu is a must have don't get a 970FX chipset for the 8350... Your cpu will want to commit suicide every single day you turn it on.
