just one question though. is there any dual socket lga 1366 motherbourd thaT is a workstation board and not a server board? if not ill make do. again if i wanted a reasonable gaming build i wouldnt do this

no real. i just want something asolutly stupid. i said that. Also i am not planning on it only being a gaming pc. I would like to be able to render videos quickly and such things. that is why i chose this. and with the low price of the cpus i can buy mre ram then ill ever need

edit found out my mobo only has support for ddr3 1333.

ivew changed a few things. first the motherboard i was going to use is a custom form factor. second ive ditched the 970 for a 980. third ive made my ram down to 1333 mhz and fourth ive went down to 96 gb instead of 128
