So i had my computer for 9 months its not something special. Specs

i5 4690k

Gigabyte z97x-sli

8 gb ram

IN the next couple years im going buy some decent 200~$ graphics card and put it in sli

So i had this case which is pretty big at time of buying my brain didnt think the exact specs of water cooling support.

So the case i have is a enermax coenus.

Im worried where i would fit a radiator because i want the loop inside the case and the top of the case is too small with fans and a radiator.

heres an article about cooling on this case. it talks how i this case is impossible to custom water cool loop in it.

http://www.hardocp.com/article/2013/06/20/enermax_coenus_atx_midtower_case_review/5#.VYiYFPlVgSU

So what im think is i can have a 120mm rad and 240mm rad with it fine.

so can i put rads there i can mod to mount but would this be bad to the rad under the pump i dont know this is the only concern i have.

So i should i get gpu before i liquid cool. because i aint got alot of money thats why i have an i5 so i a gtx960 the most i can get not like a 980ti

edit: i bought my computer in total for 500$ i dont know how i can add 2k to make it liquid cool worthy

get the  upgrades then decide if you still want to custom loop it . if you get a 970/980 they run cool enough unless you get unluck and get a dud that runs hotter. or hit a limit vrm being too ect.also get a higher end cpu the  4690k which i have in my other rig runs max 65c on h100i, so water cooling that is kinda a joke . there is a small clause to this if you buy a gpu that either comes only with a water block or has hybrid ability air+water then yes getting the loop now is better .

also for a decent loop all the parts you looking at 500$+ not including the gpu blocks which if the card doesn't come with are around 120-160$ each , and if your looking at amd fury ect there new line and they run anything like the 200's you will need more rad space alot more . since we know null about the new cards really for the temps

there is only 1 gpu for the 960 that has a waterblock and its the asus strix nothing under a 970 is worth it since the blocks will cost the same a the card being cooled

so gtx 970,980 +  ,   r9 280, r9 390+ are worth being water cooled if you want nothing really under them is worth it for price per dollar but if you want to water cooling a low to mid range card you may have to passive cool the memory and vrms since you may not be able to get a full cover block and may have to get a cpu one to put on your gpu core

So i should i get gpu before i liquid cool. because i aint got alot of money thats why i have an i5 so i a gtx960 the most i can get not like a 980ti

fittings ,d5 pump or dcc version ,tubing ,res, rads also no aluminum rads/blocks since you cant use them with copper nickel brass ect .  you also pay for   what you get the lowest end rad may have issues with QC and wont last as long as a rad abit more and buying some parts second hand is ok but blocks/pumps you can get screwed since they may be fine now but not in a few months

if your running 4690k on a all in one loop of course your gonna get bad temps and i dont plan to overclock even though im running at 4ghz off of 3.5 stock

you misunderstood what i ment 4790k 4820k 5820k  ect and up is worth to do custom loop 4690k leave on a AIO unless you going to be shoveing 3k in gpus into the same pc which then the cpu becomes stupid and the bottleneck also that 65c was in a room that was close to 70-80f ish temp in it . after 4 days on running prime95 for the overclock on it.

also the main reason people do custom loops is for the pc to be dead quiet or to make everything run cooler , most of us that do custom loops have a decent to extreme overclock on said parts . to where on air it would work or be at temps that it would thermal throttle

Yay my build is bascially built to be updated lga 1150 i can go to a i7 4470k or 4790k this is why i want to choose water cooling beacause you can also add on there so making it a custom loop

then why did you even buy a 4690k the 4790k is only 100$ more for twice the cpu ? also if your looking at sli anyway you will need a min of 3 120mm more like 4-5 for overclocking headroom unless you go high cfm with high static pressure fans on thick rads 50mm+ at 3 120mm with 4-5 120mm spaces low rpm with 70cfm is fine then.

this is standard with watercooling 1 120mm/140mm per thing being cooled + 120mm per device being overclocked heavy for headroom .

you have one of the most un-friendly  custom loop cases from what newegg has on it .unless you get right up to the front of it where the hdd cages are you got some modding to do . also you may have clearance issues with a rad up top .
