as of now, intel because it is much newer and have stronger cores. they are better for single core performance which is great for gaming.

 

amd is pretty much dead.

For gaming ,Intel has the upper hand in the market today, but that doesn't mean that AMD isn't decent with gaming aswell, their CPUs are just outdated.

For video editing and content creation AMD's FX series are great if you are on a low budget.

intel for sure, unless youre planning to use integrated graphics, in which case buy an APU
