On the prowl for some new ''portable'' Headphones (On-Ear)

So, here i am with a pair of broken AKG 452s, on to the next contender i guess.

I've been looking around for a nice pair of portable, yet good sounding headphones for a couple of days.

Here's what i've found so far.

My budget orbits around 1-150$

Any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I love my momentum on ear. Paid full price before the price got down to a hundred bucks, and I'm not even mad.

Since you're looking at the Momentum On-Ear I would suggest looking at the V-Moda M-80s/XS. The XS is the newer version that folds up, that's the only difference between the two. Personally I own the M-80s, and when I tried the Momentum On-Ears I found them very underwhelming IMO. That may just be because of my taste in music favouring Rock more than anything, but I guarantee the build quality and durability of the V-Modas far outstrip the Sennheisers.

What do you have backing up that guarantee?

I would avoid the Bose SoundTrue at all costs. Definitely not worth the price you pay for them. FWIW the pair of headphones that you get when flying United in business class had the same, if not better sound quality than the soundtrue and that says something. (Airline provided headphones are garbage).

The xs also sound a lot more balanced than the m80.

Beyerdynamic dt1350 are unbelievablely good.
