Computer lag after being idle

Hello I have come here in search of help for an issue I have been having recently. I am unable to find a solution in these forums and other forums. My Computer will lag majorly if I afk or idle for about 5 mins, this started about a week ago and I do not recall downloading anything or changing any settings recently. When I restart my computer it works fine until I afk for a short period of time and then issue occurs again. All help is appreciated and thanks in advance. 

 

 

Computer specs:

 

GTX 760

Intel core i5-4670 CPU 3.40GHz

8.00 GB ram (7.94 GB usable)

OS; Windows 7
