I recently got the ASUS VG248QE and returned due to frustratingly poor color reproduction but I greatly miss the 144hz. I was wondering then whether or not the Acer XB240H would have slightly better color reproduction or is there an even better TN panel that looks alot better then the ASUS panel? I can't afford the $700-$800 IPS 144hz panels either or I would just pick up a swift.

AFAIK the VG248QE only suffers because we cant adjust the gamma think (that i honestly dont understand)

The BenQ 2411Z can be adjusted (as far as I know, but still TN), maybe give it a try?

There is something about colors going weird when going from 60hz to 144hz, but on the benQ you can adjust it (from what I have heard) and is the reason for why people pick it over the 248qe

RAM: HyperX Fury 1600MHZ CL10 2x4GB      Storage: Samsung 850 EVO(250GB) + WD Red(2TB)      PSU: Corsair RM750 (and no, it hasn't blown up!)

VG248QE is pretty good as far as colours go...

Don't know about acer xb240h, but XL2430T or XL2420G are very good.

xl2411z is not very good colour wise. xl2420z+ are better. xl2430t and xl2420g use the new better panel.
