computer won't turn on

Go to solution Solved by spwath,

Fixed!!!

It was my PCI riser even though I wasn't using it

It won't turn on.

I turn it on, all r fans, and the hard drive spin, but nothing happens on screen.

Tried multiple displays and connections, multiple pcie slots.

Ideas?

Remove the RAM stick one by one and see if it posts with some of them, if not at all, then reinstall the RAM sticks and take out the GPU, if it still doesn't post remove the ram sticks again 1 by 1, but i'd firstly see if it posts with Integrated graphics.

You didn't happen to forget to plug in a connector on either the CPU power or the card?

What's the full specs of the machine?

That's not the problem.

Did this happen all of a sudden? Was this a result of the case being opened and a PM performed?

Did I help you to fix your problem or at least did offer somewhat valuable advice? Consider giving my post a "informative" or "thumbs up".

Strange, I doubt it's ESD, I mean I just entirely rebuilt my computer on the carpeted floor the other night and I was okay not to mention I have always built on carpet without an issue.

Try finding another cheap video car to rule that out and such.
