Ram is usually for multitasking, games also use it but they usually require 8GB or 4GB.

How much RAM do you have and how much of it is used?

Best way to free a lot of RAM is to close your web browser when you play games especialy if you keep a lot of tabs opened.

I have 8GB ram and 5.4 is "In use". Around 70%. I don't know if it's bad or not. I just experienced SUPER lags today. FPS were 90 which is good but it still lagged then stopped and then lagged again with no fps loss, which is weird.

RAM = Random Access Memory, it's a space where the PC stores Data temporally till the PC is shut off and then saves them on the PC.

RAM usage depends, if you are playing HOTS and have like 10 chrome tabs open then yeah, you should see 5+GBs on use. But it's nothing to worry about.

If there is no fps loss then it is most likely network connection issues.

Bare in mind half of that is being used by windows. Lags with no framerate drops are caused by connection issues.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

But those lags wasn't like connection issue at all. It felt like my pc was dying. ;D
