Win 10 upgrade vs full version. Whats the difference?

I was reading in another topic that win 10 preview users will receive the full version and win 8/7 users an upgrade version. So whats the difference between them?

There is no difference, the difference only comes between the different versions of Windows 10, like if you upgrade from standard or professional version of 7/8 you'll get the standard/pro version of 10.
