First Build for around $1,600 US

H_E_Xy
The only real conflict I am still deciding on is whether or not to go with the xeon or i7 4790k. Hyper threading is something I would like with editing and rendering videos. So far I have decided on the xeon (has good gaming reviews, just no OC) and only the i7 if it goes on sale for less than $300

Is there anything to add from you guys? I like the video card, and may be overkill, but is cheaper and safer to buy water cooled than to do it myself.

Have spent many days researching and picking parts.

Looks pretty sweet.

A few options.

Xeon is really only recommended if you are serious about video encoding. For gaming see the comparisons here

16GB of RAM

AMD Fury X is $650 with water cooling

AMD Nano is coming out @ $450

The cooler is slightly overpriced - see my coolers sheet

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Wf4v7PI got this just add the price of your 980 TI to it and it would be good.

Get at least 16 gb of ram man.

Only reason for 8 gb is I plan on buying more later, but don't need it RIGHT now.

Though if it is worth it, could just get 4790k and 16 gb of ram, so go all out, and not have to upgrade for a while...

In fact price is still in the 1600 range, will just need to save money for upgraded fans than the stock ones which come with the case and radiators. Though fans are moderately cheap comparative.
