Hello  I'm building my first pc out of some of the old components and some that i got new, but  i went on the asrock site and on the cpu support list it says I need to have bios P1.60 i don't know the current bios version, I don't really have any experience i never built a pc before what can i do in this case, and how hard can i screw this up ?

asrock 970DE3/U3S3

amd fx 6300

hd5670

6gb ddr3 kingston hyper x

some old 80gb hdd

and a 400w psu.

You should be good to go as both the CPU and the motherboard support the AM3+ Socket. Also what is the reason you went with a HD5670 this stuff is pretty old now.

No it is not. Just touch your case every so often to remove any static electricity. If your home isn't very dry, and you don't get shocked at all, you should be fine. Even so, avoid carpets. If you must walk on carpet a few times, touch your case every time you come back.

Also, some motherboards require a BIOS update to support newer CPUs. Even if they have the same socket and chipset required for the new CPU. Depending on your board, you will need a compatible CPU first before you can update the BIOS. If you insert the new CPU into the board, you will get a blank screen.

But the quad core ones are supported from the first version and thore are vishera two donsen't that count for anything? I was thinking maybe i could get in to the bios and then update i saw some topic that said the pc posted and they go in to the bios and the updated.
