If you want the full works aside from the freebies that also work, I use Norton 360.

I have been using avast for many years now. I would definitely recommend it

i use it because i just have it but its like a freaking babysiter that delites evrything you download because it thinks its a virus and it also blocks most games acces atleast with the copy i have

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

With Norton? Mine doesnt, maybe just tweak with its toleration settings so it wont be so cut throat about new software or games or what have you.

Whenever I download something, the little window pops up in the bottom corner and gives me green, yellow, or red as well as its trust rating and how many others have downloaded it, pretty helpful IMO.

If you read about the top antivirus programs ESET NOD32 Kaspersky and Bitdefender are on top right now. Avast has fallen way off since about a year and a half ago and I wouldn't recommend it. panda antivirus is better than avast as of right now.
